Season of HOPE is a program run through the Lancaster-Lebanon Education Foundation (LLEF) that benefits local students and families served by Lancaster-Lebanon IU13.
When students feel safe and cared for at home, they can focus on learning in school. LLEF understands that families face difficult struggles so hope and encouragement can make all the difference. Working through IU13 social workers and staff, Season of HOPE provides assistance with things like rent, utilities, clothing, food, diapers, bedding, and other household necessities.
ExtraGive Update: Everyone at LLEF extends a huge THANK YOU to our community for donating $20,296.00 during the 2022 Extraordinary Give. Through dollar amounts large and small from over 127 donors, we raised enough to make the holidays brighter for 31 IU13 families. An additional thank you goes out to the Lancaster County Community Foundation who makes the ExtraGive an annual extraordinary event and to Giant Food Stores who offered a prize of $100 to LLEF. To all of those who helped us share our message of HOPE through social media, we thank you!
